Precision Executive Search, Inc. was formed in September of 2001 by Matt Barcus. Prior to the formation of Precision Executive Search Matt was the Civil Engineering Division Manager with a multi-disciplinary Executive Search Firm in Phoenix, AZ. Joining that firm in 1997 , Matt was the second employee hired in the civil engineering division. In the little over four years that he was with the firm he was awarded “Rookie of the Year” and was named Top Biller for each year following. During his tenure with this company Matt received numerous other honors and awards, and was ultimately promoted to Civil Engineering Division Manager. Upon taking over the division in 2000, he motivated and oversaw five recruiters whose hard work accounted for nearly 40% of his employer's yearly revenue. Additionally, the civil engineering division revenues rose 50% from the previous year.

After four great years in Arizona, Matt and his family relocated back “home” to the greater Philadelphia area where he began Precision Executive Search, Inc. Since it’s inception in late 2001, and through the dedication of Matt and his recruiting team, Precision Executive Search has been responsible for placing hundreds of professionals in the civil engineering, surveying, planning and landscape architecture communities. Clientele range from small, local companies to the leading ENR Top 500 consulting firms in the country. Our successful search capabilities range from C- Level and Vice President through the Project Engineer level. Matt is a graduate of the University of Delaware, he resides in North Coventry Township, PA with his wife and three beautiful daughters.
